How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

Choosing the right therapist is personal, and it’s important that you feel comfortable and understood. My approach is warm, supportive, and tailored to your specific needs. I don’t believe in generic solutions—I take the time to truly understand what’s going on for you and what’s driving the challenges you’re facing.

If you’ve tried therapy before and felt unheard or rushed into quick fixes, know that I work differently. I focus on real, lasting change rather than temporary band-aid solutions. If you’re ready to do the work and invest in yourself, I’d love to explore how we can get you where you want to be.

I’ve had therapy before, but it didn’t help. How will this be different?

Many of my clients come to me after feeling let down by previous therapy—whether through the NHS or private therapists who didn’t truly understand their needs. Therapy shouldn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all process, and sometimes quick-fix approaches don’t address the root of the issue.

The difference here is that I work with you as an individual. We’ll look at what’s really happening beneath the surface and create a tailored approach that actually works for you. Sometimes just a few sessions are all you need, and other times, deeper work is needed. Either way, we’ll go at the right pace for you to ensure you see real progress.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on you—some clients feel significant changes in just a few sessions, while others prefer longer-term support. I don’t keep you in therapy for longer than necessary, but I also won’t rush you through a rigid programme.

After our first session, I’ll have a clearer idea of what’s needed to get you where you want to be. We’ll focus on practical, effective strategies so you feel real shifts as soon as possible.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is all about understanding where you are now and where you want to be. We’ll discuss what’s been holding you back, and I’ll start guiding you through strategies and insights from the very first session.

This isn’t just a ‘talk about your problems’ session—I focus on helping you feel clearer and lighter from the moment we begin.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

I offer both! Many clients love the flexibility of online sessions, as it allows them to get support from the comfort of their own home, no matter where they are.

If you prefer in-person sessions, I can accommodate that too. Let me know what works best for you, and we’ll make it happen.
