How I Help

As a South Asian woman, my approach is culturally aware and grounded in understanding the deeper patterns that shape how you think, feel and respond.

Many people were never taught how to understand themselves, other people – so their nervous system stays on high alert trying to always feel emotionally safe. In our work together, we will:

  • Gently uncover the hidden beliefs and patterns driving anxiety and over-responsibility and how to work past them 

  • Strengthen your emotional awareness and capacity to be with yourself

  • Build self-trust so decisions feel clearer, less overwhelming and guilt free

  • Develop a stronger sense of self-worth, so you feel more in control & come out of being on high alert all the time

You don’t need to have the answers before you start. Therapy is a space where you can feel seen, understood and supported – all at your pace – while learning how to trust yourself again.

Our work integrates mind and body; he aim isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you come home to yourself – moving from survival and self-monitoring toward clarity, steadiness and self-leadership.

Women’s Circle - Coming March

From March, I’ll be offering a monthly Women’s Circle; a gentle, no-pressure space to connect with other women, reflect and be in conversation. Each month holds a theme and we move intuitively with the group.

This is not a therapy group. It’s a come-as-you-are talking circle where you can share, listen and feel less alone. At times, I may offer reflections or insights to help make sense of what’s emerging, but the focus is on connection.

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

Choosing the right therapist is personal, and it’s important that you feel comfortable and understood. My approach is warm, supportive, and tailored to your specific needs. I don’t believe in generic solutions—I take the time to truly understand what’s going on for you and what’s driving the challenges you’re facing.

If you’ve tried therapy before and felt unheard or rushed into quick fixes, know that I work differently. I focus on real, lasting change rather than temporary band-aid solutions. If you’re ready to do the work and invest in yourself, I’d love to explore how we can get you where you want to be.

I’ve had therapy before, but it didn’t help. How will this be different?

Many of my clients come to me after feeling let down by previous therapy—whether through the NHS or private therapists who didn’t truly understand their needs. Therapy shouldn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all process, and sometimes quick-fix approaches don’t address the root of the issue.

The difference here is that I work with you as an individual. We’ll look at what’s really happening beneath the surface and create a tailored approach that actually works for you. Sometimes just a few sessions are all you need, and other times, deeper work is needed. Either way, we’ll go at the right pace for you to ensure you see real progress.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends entirely on you—some clients feel significant changes in just a few sessions, while others prefer longer-term support. I don’t keep you in therapy for longer than necessary, but I also won’t rush you through a rigid programme.

After our first session, I’ll have a clearer idea of what’s needed to get you where you want to be. We’ll focus on practical, effective strategies so you feel real shifts as soon as possible.
